Motherhood can be a wild ride. As soon as you’re pregnant and begin researching baby items, you’re bombarded with so much information telling you which product is the best, why it matters, how it affects baby, and so on and so forth.
Not to mention all the even more important information that involves growing, birthing, and caring for a baby!
I personally take a more minimalist approach to baby products and really try to stick to the necessities. I also aim to shop for products that will last a long time and possibly through multiple babies in case we choose to expand our family in the future.
You can imagine how much time I dedicated to researching the items I did want to use then.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that babies need some sort of bag, whether a plain old backpack or a fancy diaper bag, for traveling with a baby.
Even if you’re just going down the street for an hour, odds are you’ll need some sort of diaper bag that fits some staple items in it to get by when you’re away from home.
Knowing I would use this Milkmaid Goods bag every time I left the house meant I’d want it to have several different components to it.
- Cute and in style
- Also gender neutral so my husband will carry it when needed
- Not too bulky
- Fit everything we need
- Pockets and zipper portions
- Not cost an arm and a leg
I had lots of stipulations as you can tell!
But alas, I discovered this diaper bag and I’m never looking back.
I’m going to detail everything you need to know about this special bag as you conduct all your research for must-have baby items…

Milkmaid Goods Diaper Bag
What makes it so amazing?
I have a few reasons I love this Milkmaid Goods diaper bag.
- Can wear it as a backpack or crossbody bag
- Cognac color complements any outfit or room if you leave it out frequently—yes, I care about how my things look—plus it’s masculine enough for men to tote around
- Lots of storage room for as long as a day
- Many pockets, nooks, and zippered pouches inside, along with a separate bag to store small items
- Comes in a vegan leather material
- Easy to wipe down and clean (inside and outside)
- Water repellent
- Great bag for mom to use too!

Are there different designs?
I personally love some of the design options for this bag. I went with a gender neutral olive leaf design for the inner lining (and matching changing pad). But they have other options.
How much can it fit?
This bag can fit quite a bit. I’ll list some things I’m able to stuff into this bag all at once.
- Several cloth diapers + wet bag
- Bottle of breastmilk
- Nursing cover
- Small bag of infant Tylenol, teethers, tooth oil, portioned out formula
- Extra baby bottles with water
- Portable sound machine
- My water bottle
- Extra socks and a beanie
- Extra bib and burp cloths
- 1-2 extra pieces of clothing
- Changing pad
- Baby wipes
- Solly Baby wrap
Additionally, if you’re really good at organizing stuff into bags, you could probably fit a manual breast pump or wearables and some snacks for an older baby.
This bag really expands more than you’d think!

Pros
- Roomy with lots of pockets, zippered and open, inside and outside of bag, along with bottle holders on both sides
- Comes with a changing pad and small bag for smaller items
- Different designs for inner lining + hard to ruin with it being wipeable and water repellent
- Extra strap to wear it as a cross body or backpack
- Made from vegan materials
Cons
- A little pricey
- Sells out occasionally so not always available
- The straps aren’t the same vegan leather material as the body of the bag
Would I recommend the Milkmaid Goods Diaper Bag?
Absolutely. In fact, I wouldn’t be writing this unsponsored post if it weren’t a product I’d recommend personally.
I’ve been using this for over four months now and have zero regrets or complaints. I am confident you’ll love it just the same. It has everything we need when we go out. I can feel stylish and somewhat put together since it complements just about any type of attire. My husband likes the style even which is a win for me since sometimes I don’t wanna be the one carrying it if I have the baby in my arms or in the wrap.
I would definitely recommend signing up for emails for Milkmaid Goods to watch out for sales and possibly get a discount code for subscribing. Since these bags are over $100 even 10% off makes a difference.
It’s durable and long lasting, so I feel confident it’ll last me for at least one more baby if I take really good care of it. I don’t mind spending a little more on certain everyday products if I know I’ll get a ton of use from them. I’d rather do that than have to buy a new one for each baby.
