Read my honest opinion as I review the Kindred Bravely nursing bras. I’ve used several of these months before, during, and after pregnancy and especially during breastfeeding.

I’ve been dying to write a review about Kindred Bravely bras for a long time now. I’ve been wearing them long before pregnancy and motherhood. I bought several to try before pregnancy and loved them so much that I just kept wearing them. Wanting to prepare my wardrobe a bit beforehand to cut down on costs during my pregnancy, I wore these for about a year before even trying to conceive.
I have also tried several other Kindred Bravely products. I love the bamboo nursing pads, labor and delivery gown, soothing breast gel pads, and breast milk storage bags.
I’ve had success in using all of these products and truly feel this brand needs to be recognized in the realm of maternity wear and postpartum products.
Today, I’ll be specifically talking about the nursing bras I’ve used. Let’s get into the Kindred Bravely review on the Simply Sublime Nursing Bra, Sublime Hands-Free Pumping Bra, and the Sublime Hands-Free Nursing and Pumping Sports Bra.

Simply Sublime Nursing Bras

I have several of these nursing bras and they are my absolute favorite. These are my go-to everyday nursing bras. These are the main ones I wore during my pregnancy and they came with extenders–so as my band size grew a bit with the additional pounds, I was easily able to size up once or twice. I continue to wear these daily as I nurse my baby and as my body recovers postpartum.
These bras feature an easy snap that quickly undoes the bra cup with one hand to allow baby to latch quickly and seamlessly. It does expose the full breast to allow your baby to latch correctly, but you have the option to only undo one side at a time which is much needed in some situations. This is my favorite bra and the one I would keep buying again and again. It is practical and comfortable and I love the colors.
Sublime Hands-Free Pumping Bras

I have one of these bras and I love how discreet it is for pumping. It is really convenient for nursing, too, with its easy-to-undo snaps, but I also love the discreet feature for pumping if I want to use my Haakaa manual pump to catch let down on the other breast during feedings.
The pumping feature allows you to leave the bra cup in place without exposing the full breast like you would need to for nursing. It only has about a quarter-sized hole for suctioning a pump onto the breast. (Yes, the hole stretches to fully fit the pump suction.) Definitely great for the multi-tasking mamas and those who plan to pump in addition to nursing.
Sublime Hands-Free Nursing and Pumping Sports Bra

I have a couple of these sports bras and wore them before pregnancy when I was a size smaller. They are really comfortable (especially for working out) and I love how the design is a racerback so there’s no slipping straps.
I love that I can wear these in the summer with my racerback tank tops, too. These are practical, come in different colors, and have an easy snap for nursing whenever, wherever. Great for ladies who lead a very active life!
The Good | kindred bravely review
- High Quality
- Variety of styles and colors
- Very Comfortable
- Size Inclusive
- Great for both nursing and/or pumping
- Excellent Support
High Quality
These bras are high quality. The fabric is thick and supportive and doesn’t wear and tear easily. The straps are supportive without being too thick and annoying. The fabric is also stretchy which makes them so comfortable to wear.
Variety of styles and colors

Kindred Bravely offers so many different styles and colors with different functions in mind for every mama out there. I love that they really keep the customer in mind with the design of the bras. They offer sports bras, nursing bras, pumping bras, and even bras that have a little bit of lace for the dressy ladies out there.
Very Comfortable
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. These are my all-time favorite bras. I’ll continue to wear these long after I quit breastfeeding. They are just that good. They have the comfort of a sports bra with the support of a regular bra. The cups are round and natural, yet thick and supportive. The adjustable straps don’t slide down off the shoulders. Even the easy-access one hand snaps are simple to use. Love these!
Size Inclusive
It can be hard to find bras in the right size sometimes. Kindred Bravely offers sizes XS-XXXL, with cup sizes ranging from B-I. They even provide an extender with each bra you purchase. This comes in handy in pregnancy or when going from pregnancy to postpartum/breastfeeding. My band size fluctuated a bit during these stages of motherhood, and I love that I didn’t have to purchase another new bra to fix this issue. Definitely worth it!
Great for nursing and/or pumping

As I’ve mentioned, these bras are great for both nursing and pumping. This truly fits any breastfeeding mother’s needs! The snaps allow a mama to quickly undo the cup and nurse on demand or to discreetly pump (or do both at the same time!). Such a convenience and necessity if you’re committing to breastfeeding long term.
Excellent Support
Yes, these bras are supportive. I can workout in these, wear them on an everyday basis, wear them in most dressy outfits for special events, and I could probably wear them to bed comfortably if I wanted to. They provide ample support without being too bulky and are comfortable in the process. I am so picky about bras, but these are a win all over.
The Bad | kindred bravely review
- Price
- No strapless bras
Price
One downside to these bras is they are pricey, but most quality bras are. An unfortunate reality most of us just have to accept. However, they are durable and high quality so they are worth the price in my opinion. I have had little wear and tear on them over the months and years. (Though I’ll mention I only wash them once a week inside a mesh bag to protect them. Highly recommend doing this to extend their life!)
At anywhere from $36-65 per bra, there is a spectrum on how much you’ll spend. My favorite bras are in the $45-50 price range, but I usually wait for a good sale or buy a bundle of three which saves you about $10 per bra.
No strapless bras
One other downside, that rarely affects me, is that they don’t have any strapless nursing bras. This can be an issue if you wear lots of strapless dresses or tops, but for me this is only on rare occasions. It hasn’t affected me enough to really bother me. It would be nice if they added a strapless bandeau bra eventually that allowed moms to pump when necessary, though.
The Verdict: Do I recommend this brand? | kindred bravely review
I absolutely recommend the Kindred Bravely brand. In fact, these are the best bras I’ve ever owned. I’ve worn them exclusively for almost two years now and have no intention of ever buying another bra from a different company again. These are practical and comfortable to wear (the most important to me) and I am able to wear them with nearly all my outfits. They are pretty and feminine and serve multiple purposes depending on where you are in your motherhood journey. Never turning back!
